ControlPoint Technologies, Inc. invites experienced Consulting Protection Engineer candidates to join our Protection & Control Engineering team.

You will lead design of protective relay systems for transmission and distribution projects, develop scopes of work, and mentor junior engineers to ensure client confidence. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, PE licensure, and 20+ years in the electric utility industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) is required.
• Minimum of twenty (20) years' experience in electric utility industry.

Responsibilities

• Design of protective relay systems
• Develop scope of work, conceptual designs

About the Consulting Protection Engineer position

ControlPoint Technologies is seeking a Consulting Engineer to provide Protection technical support within our Protection & Control Engineering team.
Candidates must have direct experience with Transmission and/or Distribution Substation Protection & Control Projects. Ability to work within engineering design standards and quality programs specific to client needs and requirements. Must be an outgoing team player with the ability to provide client confidence.

Salary:

The base compensation range for this position is based on education, work experience, licensure, and qualifications.

Base Compensation Annual Range: $145,000 - $195,000
