Job summary

Clearsulting LLC is seeking a Consulting Director, Source to Pay, to lead executive-level procurement and finance transformations across client engagements. This hybrid/remote role covers multiple offices with up to 40% travel, focusing on delivering measurable value and scalable delivery models.

The role requires deep Source-to-Pay domain knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives at the C-suite level.

• Lead consulting teams, set expectations, coach leaders, and ensure consistent application of methodologies and quality standards.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior executives, shaping strategic agendas and guiding decision-making at C-suite and SVP levels.
• Drive growth, identify opportunities, shape proposals, and lead executive-level pitches.

Role:

Consulting Director, Source to Pay

Location:

• Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
• Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.

What you\'ll do

• Provide executive leadership across complex procurement, supply chain, and financial operations transformations, guiding clients from strategic vision through execution and measurable value realization.
• Oversee multiple concurrent client engagements, ensuring delivery excellence across assessments, operating model redesign, technology enablement, vendor selection, process optimization, andlarge‑scalefinance and accounting transformations.
• Lead, develop, and scalehigh‑performingconsulting teams, setting clear expectations, coaching emerging leaders, and ensuring consistent application of methodologies and quality standards.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, shaping strategic agendas, framing complex business challenges, and influencingdecision‑makingat theC‑suiteand SVP level.
• Drive business growth,identifyingnew opportunities, shaping pursuit strategies, developing proposals, and leadingexecutive‑levelpresentations and pitches.
• Provide leadershipon procurement and financial operations, bringing forward insightsonmarket trends, digital solutions, operating model innovations, and leading practices.
• Strengthen internal capabilities,optimizingdelivery frameworks, knowledge assets, and operational processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and team productivity.

What You\'ll Bring:

• Deep domain knowledge across procurement and supply chain processes, including catalog management, requisitioning,purchasing, receiving, invoicing, OCR, invoice processing, and payment operations.
• Broad understanding ofSource‑to‑Payplatforms, including key capabilities, business value drivers, and comparative strengths of leading market solutions.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams, with 5+ years overseeing consultants or managers.
• Demonstratedability to lead complex, ambiguous, andhigh‑visibilityinitiatives, navigating evolving client needs and organizational dynamics.
• Extensiveprogram and project leadership skills, including workplan design, milestone management, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and change management.
• Exceptional executive communication skills, capable of distilling complex concepts into clear, concise narratives tailored to senior audiences.
• Executive presence and strong leadership acumen, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement credentials.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in fast‑paced environments.
• Experience developing executive‑level presentations that synthesize complex issues across processes, systems, and organizational structures.

The compensation range for this position is $150,000-$200,000. We are committed to ensuring our offers reflect the value each candidate brings to the role. Final salary placement will be based on upon several factors, including, level of expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background, geography and alignment with industry standards. This role is eligible for our bonus program and standard benefit offerings.
