Job summary

Ascendo Resources is seeking a Director-level professional for its Chicago-based client, a boutique professional services firm focused on interim CFO and Controller services across multiple industries. The role entails full integration of CFOs/Controllers into client management teams and expanding account leadership.

You will drive high-impact engagements, including M&A and turnarounds, while maintaining a balanced workload and strong client service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting from a respected program.
• Strong foundation in financial reporting, problem-solving, and client service.

Responsibilities

• Full integration of controllers and CFOs to client management teams.

Our Chicago-based client, a boutique professional services firm founded by former Big 8 partners, is experiencing unprecedented growth and selectively adding Directors to their team. Their specialty? Deploying interim CFO and Controller services for a wide variety of industries.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS:

Full integration of controllers and CFOs to the management teams of their clients

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

Temporary outsourced CFO services, short term project assignments, downtime between projects

All Directors at our client are full time salaried + bonus employees.
