R&AD has an opening for a Consulting Chief Engineer to join our Future Aircraft Operating Unit (OU) located in Redondo Beach or El Segundo, CA.
In this role, the successful candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team executing research & development projects within the Future Aircraft OU. This team conceives, develops, demonstrates, and transitions cutting-edge new air vehicle technologies, aircraft designs, and air weapons systems concepts. Activities within the OU span the spectrum from applied research through flying experimental prototypes, spanning a broad range of flight regimes and mission applications including air mobility, air combat, ISR, and reusable hypersonics.

Primary Level Salary Range: $212,100.00 - $318,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
