Job Summary

Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation-liaison psychiatric services to a broad variety of patients at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC).
• Coverage includes emergency department, intensive care unit, medical-psychiatric unit, and neurorehabilitation patients.
• Collaborate with the Barrow Neurological Institute to care for patients with complex neuropsychiatric illness.
• Five days per week of inpatient general hospital coverage with rounding one weekend per month (weekdays exchanged for weekend coverage).

Qualifications

• MD/DO License
• Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Psychiatry (ideally with additional certification/eligibility in consultation-liaison psychiatry, brain injury medicine, or neuropsychiatry)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency
• A passion for providing clinically excellent care
• Must have or be eligible for Arizona state medical licensure
