Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or similar) or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in technical consulting, engineering, or operations within energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong ability to analyze technical documentation and identify risks/opportunities related to asset integrity.
• Operational performance and management systems understanding.
• Experience with business plans and project deliverables.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• High attention to quality and client-ready outputs.
• Experience breaking down process flow diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of proposals, including scopes of work, schedules, and commercial terms.
• Execute technical due diligence projects, providing operational, technical, and business plan evaluations.
• Coordinate project activities, including Q&A processes and management sessions.
• Lead client meetings and contribute to final report delivery.
• Collaborate with ERM's technical experts and external SMEs to deliver integrated project outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Infrastructure M&A service line.
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and client communication throughout project delivery.

What You'll Bring:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or similar). Or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in technical consulting, engineering, or operations within energy or infrastructure sectors
• Strong ability to analyze technical documentation and identify risks/opportunities related to: Asset integrity

Preferred

• Master's degree in Engineering
• Experience managing or supporting complex, multi-workstream projects
• Exposure to technical due diligence or transaction advisory
• Corporate finance qualification or strong commercial awareness
• Understanding of Capex and Opex cost structures for infrastructure and energy assets
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for site visits

For the Consulting Senior Associate, Technical Due Diligence / Infrastructure position, the anticipated annual base pay is $76,010 -$100,058 ( USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
