Guidehouse is seeking professionals to work with State and Local Government clients on economics, sustainability, disaster recovery, and organizational strategy. You will translate strategy into actionable plans and manage complex stakeholder groups to deliver high-impact solutions.

Applicants should possess a graduate degree in progress and be authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available. Travel up to 25% may be required as projects demand.

We deliver compelling, high impact solutions to our state and local government clients' toughest business and technology problems. We translate strategy into action.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
• Minimum Degree Status: Graduate Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program through Fall 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027)
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Demonstrates knowledge in and passion for improving state and local government through academic courses and project work
• Preferred degree programs include business, public policy, urban planning, economics, engineering, math, computer science, and environmental science/studies
• Demonstrates proven success and thorough skills to define and lead client-work including conducting baseline assessments, building a future state vision, developing implementation plans, managing multiple stakeholders, and communicating with varying audiences
• Demonstrates proven success and thorough knowledge of key facets of state and local government, including the following: sustainability, urban planning, education, housing, transportation, justice, and/or administration
• Demonstrates proven success and thorough knowledge of core management consulting skills such as project management, financial modeling, operational modeling, and stakeholder management.

The annual salary range for this position is $56,000.00-$94,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
