Job summary

Guidehouse in Boston is seeking a Management Consulting professional to support state and local government clients across economic development, sustainability, and disaster recovery initiatives. The role encompasses business design, organizational strategy, and technology strategy to deliver high impact solutions.

You will engage in market analysis, financial and operational modeling, and stakeholder management to translate strategy into action for diverse public sector clients.

Preferred degree programs include business, public policy, urban planning, economics, engineering, math, computer science, and environmental science/studies

Demonstrates knowledge in and passion for improving state and local government through academic courses and project work
Demonstrates proven success and thorough skills to define and lead client-work including conducting baseline assessments, building a future state vision, developing implementation plans, managing multiple stakeholders, and communicating with varying audiences
Demonstrates proven success and thorough knowledge of key facets of state and local government, including the following: sustainability, urban planning, education, housing, transportation, justice, and/or administration
Demonstrates proven success and thorough knowledge of core management consulting skills such as project management, financial modeling, operational modeling, and stakeholder management.

What Would Be Nice To Have

The annual salary range for this position is $56,000.00-$94,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
