Job summary

A consulting firm is seeking a Consultant with expertise in Information Technology and the Retail Industry. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in creating requirement specifications, Development/Configuration, and working within the testing lifecycle. A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Familiarity with AS400 and JDE World will be an advantage. This position is full-time and based in Parsippany, NJ.

Role: Consultant – Retail - Oracle JDE
Duration: Full Time
Location: Parsippany, NJ

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• At least 4 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes.
• At least 4 years of experience in Development/Configuration/solutions evaluation/Validation and deployment.
• At least 4 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in Retail Industry.
• At least 4 years of experience in test strategy and test Design.
• At least 4 years of experience in JDE World functional testing area.
• At least 4 years of experience of testing with AS400 functional applications.
• Development experience in AS400 JDE world will be an added advantage.
• At least 4 years of experience or more in testing lifecycle, defect cycle.
• At least 4 years of experience in test execution analysis & reporting.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Analytical and Communication skills.
• Planning and Co-ordination skills.
• Experience with project management.
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
