Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Product Analyst for its Personal Lines Auto Product team. The role focuses on building and evolving auto insurance solutions, collaborating across the company to deliver state-level results and modernize pricing and supporting tech.

You will design holistic product strategies and work cross-functionally to execute in market, driving profitable growth through enhanced offerings and improved customer experiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information management, economics, or other quantitative field; Masters preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years, typically 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledgeable in data query languages and tools; proficient in new and emerging technologies.
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of data concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of data architectures, solutions and designs; extensive knowledge of business operations, strategies and objectives.
  • Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform highly complex analyses to evaluate product performance and identify trends and issues, drawing conclusions and making actionable recommendations for areas of improvement or focus.
  • Research Auto insurance trends, monitor changes to the Auto product landscape, and identify opportunities for Product enhancements; this includes advanced competitive intelligence research and partnering with internal research teams.
  • Independently manage projects of moderate complexity. Develop subject matter expertise of Auto Product data to support independent project work and teammates with broader analysis.
  • Query data to conduct standardized monthly reporting, quarterly strategic monitoring, and ad hoc analysis to answer advanced business questions. Develop, maintain, and enhance reports to ensure consistent and accurate tracking of performance metrics.
  • Work cross-functionally on alignment around strategic decisions needed.
  • Regularly present analysis and insights to cross-functional stakeholders and Auto Product leadership.
  • May be assigned to mentor or supervise intern or rotational analysts.
