Job summary

Chartis & HealthScape, a Chartis Company, seeks consultants to join their healthcare advisory teams in Chicago. You will plan and manage project segments, collaborate closely with Engagement Managers and Partners, and deliver data-driven insights across engagements that typically run 3–6 months with teams of 3–4 members.

Responsibilities include developing analytic approaches, refining data sources, and presenting findings to clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of consulting experience required (healthcare preferred)
• Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple work streams
• Demonstrated collaboration, problem solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Clear and concise communication, professional client advisement
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Tableau experience a plus
• Willingness to travel as required

Role Overview

Consultants are integral members of our consulting teams, generally working on a single engagement to meet client needs while under the direction of and collaborating closely with Engagement Managers and Partners. Consultants are responsible for effectively planning and managing distinct segments of work, while acting as a valued contributor to the team. Our project teams usually consist of 3-4 members and client engagements often span 3-6 months in duration.

Responsibilities

• Define analytic approaches, integrating multiple analyses, and develop analytic understanding of client problems to identify issues and opportunities to motivate client action
• Gather and refine complex data sets and data sources to enable accurate and robust quantitative analyses
• Provide insight into hypotheses under consideration and contribute to team's understanding of client's overall problem and potential solutions
• Create elegant, multi-issue client communications, present analytic findings and recommendations, and field client questions with minimal support
• Draw upon healthcare payer knowledge, trends, and experiences to highlight relevant implications for clients
• Effectively engage with client leaders to facilitate organized teams, ensure meaningful results are achieved, and build ongoing relationships
• Proactively work to create an energizing team environment
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and team development

Qualifications And Desired Skills

• 4+ years of consulting experience is required, healthcare preferred
• Strong project management skills with experience working on multiple work streams
• Demonstrated collaboration, project management, problem-solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
• Strong critical thinking skills; ability to develop solutions that address client needs
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills and the ability to advise our clients professionally and positively
• Proficient in Microsoft office; experience with Tableau is a plus
• Flexibility to travel as required
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Chicago, Boston, or Washington, D.C.

Salary range: $104,000-$135,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs. In addition, Chartis offers several benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness stipend, and additional voluntary benefits.
