Qualifications

We are seeking a Consultant to join our Economic Damages and Valuations team. In this role, you will support a wide range of litigation-focused engagements, including economic damages assessments, business valuation analyses, and forensic accounting. Typical assignments may involve commercial damages, business interruption claims, fraud investigations, partnership and trust disputes, family law matters, shareholder disputes, and other specialized projects.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly driven candidate with strong analytical and organizational skills to work closely with testifying experts and leadership. The role involves analyzing complex financial information, preparing schedules and exhibits, reviewing discovery materials, and assisting in the preparation of materials used in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple matters and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting with aminimumGPA of 3.0 inboth your major and overall.
• Experience analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and general ledger data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality expert reports.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong independent work ethic with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively support and address client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience evaluating economic damages in litigation cases.
• Experience supporting expert testimony or litigation matters.
• Professional certifications (ex. CEA, CVA, ABV etc.), or have demonstrated progress towards obtaining relevant certifications.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to travel as needed.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000.Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limitedto skillset,experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
