Maximus is seeking a Solutions Analyst to partner with stakeholders, drive operational improvements, support solution design, and develop innovative strategies that enhance program performance.

This fully remote role requires strong analytical, consulting, and business acumen to deliver impact across diverse initiatives. You will build models, dashboards, and reusable assets to scale insights across pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 3+ years of professional experience required.
• Supporting solution design, business process analysis, proposal development, and operational improvement for complex programs.
• Experience in government health and human services or public-sector environments preferred.
• This position is fully remote and requires a home office setup.

Responsibilities

• Produce analyses, models, forecasts, and documentation to develop complete, compliant solutions.
• Maintain volumetric models, workload forecasts, staffing calculations, and operational demand projections.
• Quantify ROI, value realization, and operational implications to support solution development.
• Evaluate alternative approaches via structured analysis and scenario modeling.
• Document assumptions, data sources, calculations, constraints, risks, and dependencies.
• Validate feasibility of proposed solution components including staffing, workflows, and service levels.
• Develop accelerators, templates, dashboards, and reusable assets to scale analytical support.
• Standardize data sources, formulas, and model structures across pursuits.
• Complete intake forms, partner documentation, and other administrative deliverables.
• Gather inputs from operations, pricing, technology, compliance, security, and SME.
• Maintain knowledge assets and reference materials for future efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support Solution Leads and Senior Solution Leads by producing analyses, models, forecasts, and documentation needed to develop complete, compliant, and executable solutions.

• Maintain volumetric models, workload forecasts, staffing calculations, operational demand projections, and other analytical tools used across pursuits.

• Quantify solution impacts, cost drivers, return on investment, value realization, and operational implications to support solution development and decision-making by Solution Leads.

• Evaluate alternative solution approaches through structured analysis, scenario modeling, and comparison of operational, financial, and delivery impacts.

• Document assumptions, supporting rationale, data sources, calculations, constraints, risks, and dependencies for solution models and analyses.

• Validate operational feasibility of proposed solution components by analyzing volumes, staffing needs, workflows, service levels, implementation considerations, and known constraints.

• Use AI, automation, standardized tools, and reusable methods to scale analytical support across multiple opportunities.

• Build and maintain accelerators, templates, dashboards, models, and other reusable assets that improve speed, quality, and consistency across pursuits.

• Improve consistency of analytical approaches by standardizing data sources, assumptions, formulas, model structures, and documentation practices.

• Complete intake forms, templates, partner documentation, and other administrative deliverables required to support solution development.

• Collect, organize, and track inputs required from internal solution partners, including operations, pricing, technology, compliance, security, delivery, and other subject matter experts.

• Maintain analytical repositories, knowledge assets, historical pursuit data, and reusable reference materials to support future solution development efforts.

'- Support business solution development for pursuits, client opportunities, and internal transformation - efforts by gathering requirements, documenting business processes, supporting operating model development, and creating proposal-ready content.

• Work with operations, technology, pricing, capture, proposal, and subject matter experts to translate client needs into practical solution components, process flows, staffing considerations, implementation assumptions, and presentation materials.

• Conduct research, synthesize inputs, identify solution gaps, and help prepare clear, client-ready narratives, graphics, tables, and supporting documentation.

Minimum Requirements

'- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Program Specific Requirements:

• Supporting solution design, business process analysis, proposal development, operational improvement, or consulting work for complex programs.

• Ability to translate business requirements, client needs, and SME input into clear solution components, process flows, staffing considerations, client-ready narratives, and presentation materials.

• Experience in government health and human services, contact center, eligibility, appeals/fair hearings, Medicaid, SNAP, unemployment insurance, workforce services, or similar public-sector/service delivery environments preferred.
