Job summary

Coretek seeks an Azure Data & AI Consultant to design, implement, and optimize data and AI solutions on Microsoft Azure for client modernization, analytics, and insights. You will build scalable pipelines, integrate AI services, and ensure governance and security across engagements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and architects, leveraging Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, and Cosmos DB, plus Power BI for storytelling and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI, with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for data processing and AI tasks.
• Hands-on experience with at least two Azure data services such as Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, SQL, or Cosmos DB.
• Familiarity with AI services in Azure, including Azure AI Services, OpenAI, and Cognitive Services.
• Experience developing Power BI solutions for advanced analytics and data storytelling.
• Understanding of modern data architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for client-facing engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor by conducting workshops, gathering requirements, and presenting solutions to both technical and business audiences.
• Data Platform Development: Design and implement Azure-based data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Azure database systems (SQL, Cosmos DB, Postgres).
• Data Engineering: Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
• AI Integration: Leverage Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services to deliver intelligent business solutions.
• Solution Architecture Support: Collaborate with architects to design scalable, secure, and high-performance Azure Data & AI architectures.
• DevOps & Automation: Implement version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Bicep, Terraform).
• Data Governance & Security: Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security requirements including RBAC, encryption, and identity management.
• Analytics & Visualization: Develop advanced reporting and interactive dashboards with Power BI to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior team members, contribute to internal best practices, and stay current with Azure Data & AI innovations.
