Qualifications

  • 2+ years of data analytics, healthcare consulting, or performance improvement experience.
  • Experience in clinical/healthcare environment preferred.
  • Experience analyzing complex datasets including clinical, operational, financial, or supply chain data.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and information systems preferred.
  • Experience managing projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong communication and Excel/PowerPoint skills.

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from Vizient resources to identify performance gaps.
  • Support implementation and adoption of technologies at client sites.
  • Develop and deliver presentations communicating data insights and project updates.
  • Present findings to client leaders to support performance improvements.
  • Execute communication strategies to promote stakeholder engagement.
  • Apply project management methods to support project execution.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities to improve products and processes.
  • Provide analytical and operational support to senior consultants.

Summary: In this role, you will lead projects and analytical initiatives that provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations. You will apply data analysis, project management, and consulting expertise to drive operational improvements, enhance performance, and support business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various Vizient resources, including Vizient Supply Analytics and Aptitude, to identify performance improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision‑making.
  • Support the successful implementation and long‑term adoption of technologies and related resources at client sites, including assisting with client support requests, user training, and issue resolution as needed.
  • Develop and deliver presentations that effectively communicate data insights, recommendations, and project updates, and facilitate designated portions of client and internal meetings.
  • Present findings, insights, and actionable recommendations to client supply chain and value analysis leaders to support performance improvement initiatives.
  • Execute communication strategies that promote awareness, encourage stakeholder engagement, and drive client participation in performance improvement efforts.
  • Apply project management methodologies and best practices to support the execution of assigned projects, initiatives, and deliverables.
  • Partner with management and cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancing products, services, tools, and processes within the area of focus.
  • Provide analytical, project management, and operational support to senior consultants in advancing strategic initiatives and client engagements.
Qualifications
  • Relevant degree in Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience in data analytics, healthcare consulting, performance improvement, or a related field required.
  • Experience working in a clinical, healthcare, provider, payer, or healthcare services environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets, including clinical, operational, financial, and/or supply chain data.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, workflows, and information systems preferred.
  • Experience managing projects and supporting cross‑functional initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Familiarity with project management, change management, process improvement, and performance optimization methodologies preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization and reporting tools preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs require.
Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00. This position is also incentive eligible. Vizient has a comprehensive benefits plan!
