Job summary

FranklinCovey Japan seeks a results‑oriented Consultant to deliver and facilitate training programs in both in-person and online formats. You will collaborate with Sales and internal teams to ensure client challenges and objectives are clearly addressed, while maintaining FranklinCovey content expertise and certifications.

The role requires business English and excellent Japanese communication, with travel to client sites and training venues as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university.
• Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing and speaking).
• 5 years of experience facilitating and presenting corporate development training programs and workshops.
• 5 years of experience coordinating meetings with clients or internal stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites and training venues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate training and workshop sessions following FranklinCovey content and Centerline standards.
• Consult with clients and collaborate with Sales and internal stakeholders to clarify challenges and objectives.
• Maintain and enhance expertise in FranklinCovey content and obtain/maintain certifications.
• Serve as emergency backup presenter when needed to ensure program delivery quality.
• Share practical knowledge with colleagues and mentor junior staff.

• 1 Program DeliveryFacilitation The role involves understanding and adhering to FranklinCoveys Centerline standard content and implementation guidelines and conducting in person and online training sessions workshops and sessionsThe position involves creating opportunities for reflection dialogue application and practice so that learners can gain insights on their own and fostering an inclusive learning environment where participants feel comfortable and safeThe role involves listening to learners comments and reactions probing questions as needed and facilitating learning by drawing out the collective experiences and insights of the entire groupThe position involves assessing learners level of understanding participation and the overall atmosphere of the session and appropriately adjusting the pace time allocation flow of exercises and engagement methodsall while ensuring that expected outcomes are met

• 3 Maintaining and Enhancing Expertise in FranklinCovey Content The role is responsible for obtaining the necessary certifications for the assigned FranklinCovey content and maintaining the ability to deliver it in accordance with CenterlineThe position continuously studies not only the content of the assigned materials but also the underlying concepts and related FranklinCovey books articles and research to deepen their understandingThe role must understand the relevance of FranklinCovey solutions to clients challenges and circumstances and develop the expertise to explain how the content can be utilized to solve real world problems and drive behavioral changeThe position must handle FranklinCoveys intellectual property appropriately and maintain its value and consistencyThe role involves continuously updating knowledge regarding external trends in business organizations human resources leadership and other areas to improve the quality of delivery and consultation
• 4 Emergency Backup Response The role is to maintain the ability to step in as a substitute presenter as needed in the event that a scheduled consultant or facilitator is unable to present due to sudden absences schedule changes or other circumstancesThe position must continuously maintain an understanding of the program content certification and delivery skills for the programs they are responsible for and be prepared to deliver them to FranklinCoveys quality standards even in emergency situationsIn the event that an emergency response is required the role must grasp the necessary informationeven with limited preparation timeand strive to ensure smooth program delivery and maintain quality while coordinating with relevant parties
• 5 Sharing Practical Knowledge and Supporting Junior Staff The role shall share practical knowledge and insights gained through program delivery facilitation client consultation and other activities within the company as neededThe position contributes to improving the organizations overall expertise and delivery quality by providing feedback sharing information and offering advice to other consultants facilitators and others regarding delivery and facilitationThe role actively accepts feedback from others and works to continuously improve their behavior and enhance their expertise

Required skills and experiences

• MUST Have Bachelors degree from a 4 year university

• Basic knowledge of and practical experience in the corporate development training business 5 years
