Job summary

Carolina Conduit Systems is seeking a General Construction Worker to install underground conduit systems and support electrical infrastructure projects. You will perform trenching, digging and material handling in outdoor conditions, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Flexible start times and potential extended hours depending on project needs; valid driver's license preferred and ability to operate hand and power tools required.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground utility installation is a plus, but not required; training provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install underground conduit systems for electrical infrastructure per company and industry standards.
• Perform trenching and backfilling in and out of ditches as needed.
• Engage in manual labor such as digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy materials (up to 65 lbs).
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks.
• Maintain job site cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and goals.
• Operate and maintain company tools and equipment responsibly.
• Occasionally drive company vehicles to and from job sites (valid driver’s license required).
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
