Job summary

Carolina Cat is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Charlotte. This hands-on role offers opportunities to grow within the construction equipment industry and contribute to efficient material flow from receipt to shipping.

You will unload, store, and distribute materials, perform cycle counts, operate forklifts, and collaborate with sales, service, and operations to meet deadlines. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience within the construction industry is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Warehouse, parts knowledge, and inventory experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with SAP or other warehouse management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipments and verify contents against invoices; complete Goods Receipt in SAP.
• Organize and label inventory; maintain documentation of item placement.
• Perform cycle counts and assist audits; maintain accurate records.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production or other departments; communicate delivery completion.
• Package finished goods, generate shipping labels, and assist outbound shipment coordination.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; perform daily safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with sales, service, and operations to meet material deadlines; support lean processes.
