Job summary

Gribbins Specialty Group is seeking a Construction Warehouse Associate to join our ProTherm Supply warehouse team in Indianapolis. This full-time role supports Gribbins Specialty Group by handling material, equipment, and tool orders and delivering them to jobsites and other warehouses.

The position requires 5+ years of field construction experience, at least 21 years old with DOT driving ability, and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years field construction or similar experience.
• 2+ years driving large vehicles (trucks, vans, trailers).

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders for jobsite materials, equipment, and tools.
• Assist with inventory management and counts.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers in the warehouse and at jobsites.
• Ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered timely.
• Evaluate incoming and outgoing material, equipment, and tools for quality and safety.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of inventory, tools, equipment, vehicles, and facility.
• Maintain the Indianapolis location, including warehouse and surrounding buildings.
• Drive company vehicles to deliver orders to jobsites and other warehouses, including box trucks and trailers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Fulfill jobsite material, equipment, and tool orders per the Area Manager’s direction.
• Assist with inventory management and inventory counts.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers in the warehouse and at jobsites.
• Ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered timely.
• Evaluate incoming and outgoing material, equipment, and tools to ensure quality and safety.
• Assist with organization and cleanliness of inventory, tools, equipment, vehicles, and facility.
• Maintain the Indianapolis location, including warehouse and surrounding buildings.
• Drive company vehicles to deliver orders to jobsites and other warehouses, including box trucks and trucks with trailers.

Desired Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years field construction or similar experience required.
• 2+ years of driving experience operating and navigating large vehicles, such as trucks, vans, and trailers.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• At least 21 years old, due to DOT regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Can pass background check, drug test, driving record check, and DOT physical.
• Ability to safely drive various vehicles, including a vehicle with an attached trailer and a box truck (both manual and automatic transmissions).
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
