Bobyard, Inc. is building computer vision applications for the construction trades. We are automating takeoffs on messy drawings with models that must be reliable in real-world data.

You’ll have autonomy to design, execute, and iterate, gaining deep expertise in the models you ship as you move quickly in a hands-on role. We seek strong CV/ML engineers with product judgment who can design solutions and ship them end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Strong CV and deep learning background with shipped models.
• Experience deploying ML models to production with reliability.
• Comfortable working with messy real-world data (scanned, handwritten) and varied formats.

Responsibilities

• Build strong CV models: detection, segmentation, OCR, reasoning over drawings.
• Own end-to-end pipelines: data ingestion, labeling, training, eval, and low-latency inference.
• Improve performance across accuracy, robustness, and latency for diverse drawing formats.
• Ship to production — collaborate with fullstack and product to deliver features customers use daily.
• Analyze real customer data to identify and fix failure modes.
• Stay current with the field and apply useful research quickly.
