Job summary

West Shore Home in Greenville, SC is seeking a Construction Trainee to assist with safe installations and customer-friendly service. You’ll load materials, travel to homes, and help install bathrooms and related components under supervision.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, punctuality, and adherence to SOPs and safety protocols. A willingness to learn, basic tools knowledge, and a valid driver’s license are required. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device to log into company systems using two-factor authentication

Responsibilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo existing bath/shower and install new tub or pan, wall surround, and update plumbing if needed
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse

Position: Construction Trainee

Location: Greenville, SC
Schedule: Monday-Friday with a start time of 6:30 AM

Purpose of Position:

The Installer will assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol while providing customers with a 5-star experience.

Key Role Accountabilities:

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo existing bath/shower and install new tub or pan, wall surround, and update plumbing if needed
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse

Compensation:

• The approximate hourly for this position is $17-$20 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
