Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification within 6 months of hire.
• EPA 608 Refrigerant Transition Certification within 6 months of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3+ years hands-on construction trades experience.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and continue study of subject matter.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven educational environment.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, can multi-task under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes on a regular schedule and create a conducive learning environment.
• Assist in curriculum development, materials, and scheduling with leadership.
• Maintain academic and attendance records for student files.
• Keep classroom and lab neat and orderly.
• Submit attendance, grades, evaluations and reports per procedures.
• Notify supervisor of any issues requiring attention.
• Use retention techniques approved by the school.
• Complete teacher education modules as assigned.
