Job summary

Tricon Residential is seeking a Construction Technician II to maintain and upgrade our rental properties, ensuring safe and attractive living environments for residents. This role requires hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, windows, and painting, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Position includes a company van, no on-call requirement, and a daily performance of maintenance tasks using our work order system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years maintenance/construction background.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 50lbs or more.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and environmentally challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Repair or replace plumbing components (faucets, sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.).
• Repair or replace electrical outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
• Repair or replace doors, windows, and trim hardware.
• Replace HVAC filters and clear condensate lines.
• Install complete Smart Home systems.
• Maintain safe, clean work environments and document tasks in the work order system.

Position is provided a van that goes home with the employee nightly. Valid drivers license is required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein.
