ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our Abilene team for field observations and initial testing of soils, aggregates, and concrete under supervision. You will collect data, document site conditions, and assist with testing activities to develop foundational technical skills.

No prior experience is required as paid training is provided, and ECS will cover certification fees.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Obtain basic certifications applicable to the work performed as per ECS Technician Certification Policy.
• If driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, reading comprehension).
• Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented work ethic.
• Very limited to no knowledge of CMT principles and testing standards.
• Basic math skills and data entry ability.
• Ability to read maps, follow directions, and interpret plans (developing).
• Basic proficiency with electronic devices (tablets, phones, laptops).
• Ability to work effectively with supervisors, peers, and clients.
• Ability to lift equipment and materials regularly (up to ~85 lbs).
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and follow all local and state laws.

Responsabilidades

ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our Abilene team and advance in a dynamic work environment. The Field Technician performs field observations and begins conducting routine testing of construction materials under direct supervision. This role is primarily field-based and supports project execution by collecting data, documenting site conditions, and assisting with testing activities. The Field Technician develops foundational technical skills and familiarity with construction practices while maintaining a positive customer service attitude and demonstrating ECS Core Values.
