Project Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Technical Inspector to support Air National Guard construction programs at Buckley Space Force Base in Colorado.

This role provides full-time, on-site inspection and construction oversight for MILCON and SRM projects across Buckley SFB and other installations, with daily progress documentation and coordination with the CO. The position requires 5+ years in construction management, OSHA 30 training, and proficiency with MS Project,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction management, inspection, or oversight.
• Experience with large MILCON/SRM projects.
• OSHA 30-hour construction safety training required or preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, schedules, and specifications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Location: Buckley Space Force Base (BSFB), Colorado
Period of Performance: 12 months + 4 option years; exact dates are yet to be determined

Position/Project Overview

Project Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Technical Inspector to support Air National Guard construction programs at Buckley Space Force Base in Colorado. This role will provide full‑time, on‑site inspection and construction oversight services for a range of Military Construction (MILCON) and Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) projects across multiple installations, including Buckley SFB, Greeley Air National Guard Station, Peterson Space Force Base, and Fort Carson. Key project activities include daily inspection and documentation of construction progress, monitoring contractor compliance with plans and specifications, identifying deficiencies and schedule impacts, supporting RFIs and change conditions, and producing detailed reports, while coordinating closely with the Contracting Officer’s Representative and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
This role is contingent upon award of project.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide technical assistance and support to CO during construction.
• Read, interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specifications.
• Arrange, attend and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site.
• Document issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor.
• Review contractor's baseline and progress schedules.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports documenting progress, site conditions, manpower, and deficiencies.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety plans, quality control plans, and contract requirements.
• Track and document noncompliant work, schedule impacts, and critical path delays.
• Draft project related correspondence for government review and issuance.
• Understand and document inspections during and post construction as well as mock‑up inspections.
• Inspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes and safety standards.
• Deliver reports, reviews, evaluations, design work, etc. to CO.
• Review, analyze, and assist in preparing cost estimates.
• Review and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution, draft response, tracking, and follow up.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills

• Education and professional qualifications related to construction, architecture, and engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in construction management, inspection, or oversight.
• Experience with large construction projects (MILCON, SRM, or similar).
• Minimum of OSHA 30‑hour construction safety training.
• Knowledge of construction practices including applicable building codes, safety regulations, cost breakdown estimating and negotiating, and technical writing.
• OSHA 30 construction safety training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, schedules, and other specifications.
• Written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of software including MS Suite (including MS Project), Adobe Acrobat, Primavera (P6), AutoCad, BIM (to include Revit), and other typical programs.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, walk or climb daily to observe contract performance for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to physically operate a motor vehicle without danger to self or others.
