Job summary

Wood is seeking a Construction Tech on the Pronghorn Operating project, spanning the Powder River Basin between Gillette and Buffalo, Wyoming. The role supports field crews with heavy equipment operation and routine maintenance, while observing safety rules and workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• General knowledge of equipment and trailers.
• Class A CDL license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Knowledge of poly pipe fusing is helpful (training provided).
• Welding and cutting torch abilities.
• Ability to spot for operator using shovel and probe.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Backhoe and Skid Steer.
• Spot for operators and others as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and trailers.
• Perform safety inspections and comply with company safety rules.
• Perform other duties to be determined.
