Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in-field natural gas construction experience.
• Fluent with Excel (formatting & formulas).
• Active motor vehicle operators license.
• Industry experience or Military MOS related.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate inspection activities across assigned natural gas construction projects.
• Support vendor surveillance resource coordination in partnership with Supply Chain.
• Assist the Construction Management & Inspection (CM&I) resource coordination team.
• Provide resource support for commissioning teams as needed.
• Support development, implementation, and ongoing management of the 4D Tool, provide field support.
• Maintain and support Learning Management System (LMS) training and compliance tracking.
• Assist with documentation verification and data accuracy.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies or show a strong willingness to learn.
• Support minor recruiting efforts, including screening, coordinating interviews, and assisting with onboarding of inspection personnel.
• Help maintain resource pipelines for inspection and field support roles.
• Operate as a self-starter capable of managing tasks independently, including virtual assignments.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to learn new software tools and technology platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within cross functional teams.
• Prior experience supporting field operations, inspections, or training programs is a plus.

Description

The Company’s Construction Management & Inspection US team in its collaborative effort led by the Project Delivery Excellence organization, brought together to lead a series of critical initiatives focused on improving overall inspection execution resulting in improved performance on the Company’s portfolio of capital projects. The team is seeking an experienced Construction Support Specialist who will report to the Manager of the Construction Support Team, CM & I (US).

In this role you will be accountable for the support of CM & I deliverables within a supporting team. The role will involve both office and field duties.

The successful candidate will collaborate with various business units including US Natural Gas Projects (USNGP), external vendors and other stakeholders in supporting of activities of key deliverables of, Resource Coordination, Vendor Surveillance, Learning Coordination and 4D deployment support. This will ensure and confirm the all-in support of the Company’s strategic goal of leveraging project execution as a competitive advantage. Supports inspection management, inspection coordination, and limited recruiting activities within natural gas construction projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
