Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and civil/structural construction.
• Experience managing projects valued over $5M.
• Excellent safety knowledge and OSHA regulations.
• Familiarity with Procore, Primavera, MS Project, CX Alloy.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S. and stay on-site.

Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: manage site construction from prep to commissioning for large data center projects.
• Vendor Management: oversee general contractors, subcontractors, and third-party vendors to meet scope, schedule, and quality.
• Schedule and Budget Management: monitor schedules and budgets; provide updates and corrective actions.
• Quality Assurance: ensure compliance with standards, client requirements, and codes.
• Risk Mitigation: identify and manage safety risks and design conflicts; implement mitigations.
• Client Interaction: serve as main contact with clients on construction matters.
• Documentation: maintain RFIs, change orders, punch lists, daily reports, closeout materials.
• Commissioning Support: collaborate with commissioning agents to ensure systems are tested before handover.

Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of construction from site preparation through commissioning for large‑scale data center projects.
• Vendor Management: Oversee general contractors, subcontractors, and third‑party vendors, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and quality standards.
• Schedule and Budget Management: Monitor construction schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders and taking corrective action as needed.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work complies with company standards, client requirements, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage potential risks, safety issues, and design conflicts; implement mitigation strategies promptly.
• Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients on construction‑related matters, fostering a professional relationship through clear communication and problem‑solving.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, punch lists, daily reports, and project closeout materials.
• Commissioning Support: Work with commissioning agents and Vertiv engineering teams to ensure systems are fully tested and operational before handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of construction management experience, with at least 3 years focused on mission‑critical or data center projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems and civil/structural construction.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale construction projects with values exceeding \$5M.
• Excellent knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, CX Alloy, Primavera, MS Project).
• Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S. and remain on‑site for extended durations.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CCM, or equivalent construction/project management certifications.
• Experience with prefabrication, modular builds, or fast‑track construction methodologies.
• Previous experience working for or with Vertiv or similar data center infrastructure providers.

Time Travel Required

• 80% travel
