Job summary

Sentry is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial, industrial, manufacturing, agricultural, and infrastructure projects across the Midwest and across the United States.

This role suits someone who enjoys leading crews, coordinating subcontractors, solving problems, and keeping projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Travel may be required, with extended stays near sites or relocation on a project-by-project basis.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel based on project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations from project startup through project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and self-perform crews.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Conduct site safety meetings and enforce company safety standards.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or productivity.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure work is completed correctly.
• Communicate project progress with project managers, owners, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage manpower, equipment, materials, and daily jobsite activities.
