Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Superintendent Intern/Co‑op to gain hands‑on exposure to the full lifecycle of a project, working with experienced field leaders to learn site mobilization, safety leadership, scheduling, and quality control.

This program offers competitive hourly pay, housing stipend, medical/dental/vision coverage for qualifying service terms, plus meals and events on site, and opportunities to grow into leadership roles at ARCO as you complete your studies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
  • Enrolled in Civil/Architectural/Construction Engineering or Construction Management degree program.
  • Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Active Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Field Operations – Gain exposure to how ARCO manages daily job site activities from site mobilization through project completion.
  • Safety Leadership – Participate in daily safety meetings, job site inspections, and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Scheduling & Coordination – Assist with coordinating subcontractor activities and monitoring progress to keep projects on schedule.
  • Quality Control – Observe and support quality inspections to ensure work meets plans, specs, and ARCO standards.

A Day in the Life:

As a Superintendent Intern/Co-op, every day brings a new lesson. You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project while working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your growth.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Field Operations – Gain exposure to how ARCO manages daily job site activities from site mobilization through project completion.

Necessary Qualifications:
