IMMEDIATE HIRING - CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Job Site Location: DULUTH, GA

The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire field operation of a water/wastewater treatment construction site. The candidate should be able to address any risk areas to maintain a safe work environment, communicate project milestones with clients and other parties, and establish a timeline for completion.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work on heavy civil projects.
• Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
• Overall management of daily operation of construction projects.
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed.
• Create and manage project schedule.
• Monitor budgets and control cost.
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers.
• Coordinate subcontractors and construction site organization.
• Order material and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process.
• Effectively recruit and train new employees.
• Prepare daily reports and time cards.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Superintendent (5 years preferred).
• 3-5 years of water/wastewater treatment plant exposure.
• Good communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of project drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
• The ability to lead craft labor and subcontractors to effectively complete projects on time and within budget.
