Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Construction Superintendent with specific experience in apartment renovations and new construction. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day construction operations, ensure all work is compliant with safety standards, and maintain the highest quality of workmanship. A crucial aspect of this role is ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on-site operations related to apartment renovations and new construction, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and skilled laborers, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of blueprints, project documentation, and building codes related to multi‑family residential construction and renovation.
• Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to project schedules.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Document and report on project status, issues, and resolutions to the Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
• Address on-site challenges promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Establish and promote a culture of safety on site, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to by all personnel.

Qualifications

Working Conditions
