Hoar seeks a Construction Superintendent to support the General or Senior Superintendent in overseeing one or more operational areas on a construction project. The role may travel up to 100% and coordinates multiple crews, plans procedures, and ensures subcontract work meets specifications.
You will monitor progress, manage schedules and budgets with Senior Superintendents, review safety practices, and produce routine reports while enabling successful project delivery in varying environments.
The Superintendent is responsible to support the General or Senior Superintendent in overseeing one or more operational areas of a construction project. This position may coordinate and schedule multiple construction crews, determines construction requirements, plans procedures, and ensures subcontract work meets required specifications. The position will also participate in the inspection of work and equipment to verify safety and ensure project operations specifications are met. In this role you may be required to travel up to 100% of the time.

Environment: Work is performed mainly in an indoor and outdoor setting with exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions, and travel from site to site.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting and field environment (construction site); to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs without assistance and greater than 50lbs with assistance; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Hoar offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, and retirement/401(k). For this role the base salary range is $115,000-$170,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
