Hoar Construction is seeking a Superintendent based in Newnan, Georgia. This vital role involves supporting the General Superintendent in overseeing construction projects, coordinating multiple crews, and ensuring that all work meets safety and quality specifications.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of construction management experience, strong knowledge of various construction crafts, and a valid driver's license. The position may require travel up to 100% of the time. We promote a safe and efficient working environment for all employees.
The Superintendent is responsible to support the General or Senior Superintendent in overseeing one or more operational areas of a construction project. This position may coordinate and schedule multiple construction crews, determine construction requirements, plan procedures, and ensure subcontract work meets required specifications. The position will also participate in the inspection of work and equipment to verify safety and ensure project operations specifications are met. In this role you may be required to travel up to 100% of the time.

Environment: Work is performed mainly in an indoor and outdoor setting with exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions, and travel from site to site.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting and field environment (construction site); to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs without assistance and greater than 50 lbs with assistance; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
