Job summary

Juniper is seeking a mid-level Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations in Lenexa, Kansas. The role oversees daily construction activities, enforces safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and communicates progress to clients and project managers.

You will manage subcontractors and organize the site, ensuring performance aligns with contract requirements from groundbreaking through closeout.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a lead or solo supervisor on projects $5–$20 million or experience as an area supervisor on larger builds.
• Proven ability to manage safety, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control on large-scale projects.
• Strong planning, coordination, and communication capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to contract requirements and project specifications.
• Skilled in building relationships with trades, subcontractors, and project teams.

Title: Construction Superintendent (Mid-level)

Location: Lenexa, Kansas

We have been in business for the last 50+ years and have a very strong track record in the following fields (in order of most pressing at the moment):

• Public Sector - Fire Station, Police Facility, City Halls
• Mixed Use - Large Multi Family with Retail, Retail, Class A Office Towers
• Healthcare - Medical Offices, Surgical Centers

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of construction projectsEnsure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed.
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers.
• Manage subcontractors and construction site organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a lead or solo super with project experience between $5-$20 million Or experience as an area super on larger scale builds.
• Proven ability to successfully manage all on-site construction operations, including safety, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control for large-scale projects from groundbreaking through closeout.
• Strong planning, coordination, and communication capabilities.
• Ensures adherence to contract requirements and project specifications.
• Skilled in building and maintaining productive relationships with trades, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Oversees construction material procurement, staging, storage, and site security operations.
• Bonus points for any Preconstruction / Estimating background (not required).
