Job summary

Noor Group is seeking an experienced Healthcare Superintendent to lead field operations on complex healthcare construction projects in Central Texas. You will oversee safety, schedule, quality, and coordination with project teams, owners, and healthcare facility staff.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, coordinating subs, managing work in occupied facilities, ensuring infection control compliance, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a superintendent or assistant superintendent in commercial construction.
• 3+ years of healthcare construction experience (hospitals, medical office buildings, clinics, senior care).
• Experience with healthcare systems (medical gas, MEP coordination, OSHPD/state requirements).
• Experience working in occupied facilities with ICRA protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on healthcare projects (new, additions, renovations, tenant improvements).
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with look-aheads and phasing.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, self-perform crews, and vendors.
• Plan work in occupied facilities with phasing, shutdowns, and tie-ins.
• Enforce ICRA and ILCS requirements; ensure safety and quality controls.
• Coordinate with owner, architect, engineers, and inspectors; liaise with authorities having jurisdiction.
• Maintain daily logs and oversee inspections, commissioning, and closeout.
• Collaborate with project manager on RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedule updates.

A well-established general contractor in the Central Texas area] is seeking an experienced Healthcare Superintendent to lead the field operations of complex healthcare construction projects. You will be responsible for the safety, schedule, quality, and coordination of your projects, working alongside project managers, subcontractors, owners, and healthcare facility teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on healthcare projects, including new construction, additions, renovations, and tenant improvements
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including look-aheads and phasing plans
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, self-perform crews, and vendors
• Plan and execute work in occupied or active healthcare facilities, including phasing, shutdowns, and tie-ins
• Enforce Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) requirements
• Coordinate with owner, architect, engineers, and third-party inspectors, including state and local authorities having jurisdiction
• Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety, quality control, and daily logs
• Manage inspections, commissioning, punch lists, and closeout
• Work closely with the project manager on RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedule updates

Qualifications

• [7+] years of experience as a superintendent or assistant superintendent in commercial construction
• [3+] years of healthcare construction experience, such as hospitals, medical office buildings, surgery centers, clinics, or senior care facilities
• Working knowledge of healthcare-specific systems, including medical gas, MEP coordination, and OSHPD / state healthcare requirements
• Experience working in occupied facilities with ICRA and infection control protocols
• Strong scheduling, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office
• OSHA 30 certification
• Ability to communicate clearly with owners, design teams, and trade partners

Preferred

• Experience on projects in the [$10M - $100M+] range
• First Aid / CPR certification
• Familiarity with Central Texas subcontractors and local building authorities
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent field experience
