Job summary

Alta Environmental & Infrastructure seeks a skilled Survey CAD Designer – Construction Staking in Tucson, AZ. You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to translate survey data into precise staking points and layout drawings for buildings and utilities.

The role demands attention to detail and strong communication with engineers and surveyors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards from data to drawings.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
Understanding of surveying principles and site condition interpretation.
Experience or training in construction staking and layout is desirable.

Responsibilities

Create Construction Staking Point Files from survey data.
Generate Construction Layout Drawings showing precise locations of buildings, utilities, and infrastructure.
Process survey data to accurately reflect site conditions.
Ensure accuracy and quality of drawings to meet project standards.
Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to satisfy project needs.
Maintain project documentation and records.
