Nations Roof, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant in Yonkers, NY. Reporting to the VP, you will manage accounting, payroll compliance, and project administration across the business unit, ensuring accurate financial processing and reliable data.

The role involves WIP management, cost-to-complete analysis, and collaboration with operations and project management teams to support monthly close and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in commercial construction accounting and/or construction office administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience with WIP schedules, cost-to-complete concepts, and revenue recognition preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP/CRM familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting duties in the monthly close cycle and prepare management reports.
• Maintain WIP data, including job status, cost-to-complete data, and accruals.
• Process AP/AR transactions, invoices, payments, and collections support.
• Assist payroll processing and related reconciliations.
• Set up and maintain job cost, vendor, and customer records in the accounting system.
