Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Construction Specialist to support MEP project teams on-site, assisting with material handling, site prep, and general labor tasks across trades. You will learn basic construction techniques and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment while growing toward apprenticeship opportunities.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety as you support electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams in a fast-paced construction setting.

Qualifications

• Prior construction or labor experience preferred, but not required (training will be provided).
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
• Willingness to learn and support multiple trades (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with material handling, unloading, distributing, and staging materials on site.
• Assist with site preparation and cleanup in a safe, organized work environment.
• Perform basic tasks such as trenching, pulling wire, conduit support, equipment setup.
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams for general labor across trades.
• Follow safety standards to maintain a safe worksite for everyone.
• Learn basic construction techniques for growth opportunities within the trades.
• Support project documentation needs such as labeling and inventory tracking.
