Job summary

Power Design Resources is seeking a Construction Specialist in the Austin area to support ME P projects with hands-on field tasks. You will gain experience across multiple trades and may participate in the Apprenticeship Program for career advancement.

Responsibilities include material handling, site prep, basic construction tasks, and collaboration with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams. Emphasis on safety, teamwork, and learning across trades.

Qualifications

• Prior construction or labor experience preferred, but not required (training will be provided).
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working outdoors in varying conditions
• Willingness to learn and support multiple trades (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth

• Learn and apply basic construction techniques to prepare for growth opportunities within the trades
• Support project documentation needs such as labeling, inventory tracking, and jobsite reporting

About The Position
