Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time night shift in Pleasantville, NJ. The role includes patrolling client premises, de-escalation of conflicts, and clear reporting of incidents. You will interact with employees and guests while maintaining a safe environment.

Requirements include 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and a NJ SORA license or ability to obtain one; a valid driver's license is preferred. Training and uniforms are provided.

Responsibilities

• Secure entrances and patrol inside and outside client premises.

• Report suspicious activity clearly and promptly.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.

Construction Site location is located in Pleasantville, NJ

Security Officer

Pay Rate $18.00 an hour. Full time. 11:00pm to 7:00am Monday to Friday. 3:00pm to 11:00pm Monday to Friday

What Your Day May Look Like

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
• Mobile patrol/Foot Patrol

Position Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Previous security experience highly preferred.
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
