About the Role

The Construction Site Superintendent is responsible for ensuring project success after the design phase. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction, along with strong communication skills. The role involves on-site supervision during heavy construction periods and remote work at other times, with travel to job sites required.

Responsibilities

1. Pre-Contract Activities:

• Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings.
• Assist with pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection.

Construction:

• Develop construction schedules and manage subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Develop safety protocols and review with subcontractors.
• Manage equipment lead times and order construction-related items.
• Lead construction review meetings and document progress with weekly reports.
• Assist with commissioning and warranty registration.
• Coordinate owner training and manage punch lists.

Post-Construction:

• Address project issues and warranty concerns.
• Develop O&M manuals and as-builts.
