Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer/Guard to monitor client sites, observe and report incidents, and help maintain a safe environment for people and property. The role welcomes candidates with diverse backgrounds and offers training to start a security career.

Full and part-time schedules are available; a strong emphasis on customer service and compliance with licensing, drug screening, and background checks is required. The position may involve physical activity and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• No experience necessary! If you have retail, food service or hospitality background you are a great fit for this role; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods and may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines/uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements may include lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
