Job summary

Tuckman-Barbee Construction Company Inc. is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to ensure safety for all personnel and property on construction sites.

This role requires completing EM 385-1-1 40-hour training and complying with 29 CFR 1926.16 for the project. The SSHO will develop and enforce the site's safety program, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and train staff while coordinating with the Project Manager and Superintendent to maintain regulatory compliance and a safe

Qualifications

• Must understand EM 385-1-1 and 29 CFR 1926.16 requirements for project safety.
• Must have completed the 30-hour OSHA Construction Industry safety class or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Summary
