Job summary

Thompson Construction Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in South Carolina. The candidate will oversee construction activities for Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and conventional steel buildings, analyzing blueprints and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ideal applicants will have a 4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 3 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience supervising a construction site.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-directed with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of building permits and safety site restrictions.

• Plan procedures for construction based on specifications.
• Assemble project team at the start of the project.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications.
