Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking a Construction Services Project Manager to oversee geotechnical earthwork, special inspection, and construction materials testing projects. You will manage project execution, coordinate with clients and project teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

The role emphasizes field and laboratory operations oversight, budgeting, and site visits, with strong focus on communication, documentation, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction materials testing and inspection experience.
• 2+ years of materials testing and inspection project management experience.
• Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in proposal preparation, including materials quantity take-offs.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction and materials testing projects
• Manage project budgets and meet and interact with clients and design professionals
• Coordinate and oversee all field activities, including field technicians and inspectors
• Visit project sites to evaluate work being performed
• Review all project-related paperwork
• Assist in troubleshooting project-related issues
