Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• 7+ years of experience in construction materials testing or inspection.
• Proven project and client-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, MDOT standards; MDOT/public-sector experience desirable.
• Licenses/certifications such as ACI/NICET/ICC/AWS are a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead teams and travel to sites in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Lead TEC's Construction Services team including project managers and inspectors.
• Oversee testing and inspection projects from proposal to completion.
• Serve as senior client contact with contractors, architects, engineers, and agencies.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, staffing, and client satisfaction.
• Review scopes, fees, and contracts; support business development.
• Coordinate field and lab resources to meet project demands.
• Promote quality-control procedures and timely reporting.
• Support recruitment, mentoring, and staff development.
