The Superior Group in Piketon, Ohio, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects on site. You will drive project execution, manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination, while reporting to the Project Executive.

The position includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation support for eligible candidates. Based on a jobsite in Piketon, this role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a proven track record in commercial construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in commercial construction project management
• Relevant degree/certification in CM or engineering is preferred
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+ is valued
• Experience with construction management software and project controls
• Active OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead project team and coordinate with vendors, clients, and executives
• Manage project risk and escalate issues to leadership with solutions
• Cultivate client relationships and ensure clear communication
• Oversee budgets, cost control, billing, and change order management

Description

Location: Piketon, Ohio

Pay Range: $135,000 - $175,000

Superior is looking for a Senior Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing construction projects, scheduling resources, ensuring that budgets and timelines are met, and working closely with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure the successful progress and completion of the project. This role is based on a jobsite in Piketon, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead our project team(s) and provide clear communication and guidance to team members, vendors, clients, and executives
• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Maintain and grow the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges
• Oversee all project finance requirements and lead the team through accurate billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost-to-complete
• Ensure compliance with the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout
• Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers
• Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed
• Own the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed
• Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite

Your Expertise

• Required: You have at least 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Bonus Points: You earned your Construction Management degree, Engineering degree, Construction Management Program certificate, or another related degree
• Bonus Points: You’re experienced with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+
• Bonus Points: You have extensive knowledge in construction management software
• Bonus Points: You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
