Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a construction-site assignment in Trenton, NJ. The role requires patrolling the site, controlling access, and providing customer service to client personnel and guests.

You will report safety issues, de-escalate conflicts, and document incidents in detail. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and professional, with basic computer skills. NJ SORA license or ability to obtain one, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work night shifts

Site Location: Trenton, NJ

FT/PT 3rd shift 11p-7am

$18.00 an hour

The ideal candidates we are seeking will bereliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic while adhering to our core values: Integrity, Vigilance, & Helpfulness

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
• Mobile patrol/Foot Patrol

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Previous security experience highly preferred.
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
