Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Construction Security Manager for its Reno, Nevada project to oversee day-to-day security operations and guard services across active construction sites. You will develop policies, post orders, and SOPs while coordinating with Construction, EHS, and Operations teams to protect critical infrastructure.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, incident response, audits, and a culture of accountability to ensure security standards are followed and projects progress

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in physical security or related fields.
• Experience managing site-level security operations and vendor relationships.
• Background in construction security for mission-critical sites.
• Experience developing and implementing security procedures and post orders.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
• Ability to lead investigations and incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction security operations for the project per Fleet standards.
• Manage on-site guarding services and hold third-party partners accountable.
• Develop and implement security policies, SOPs, and post orders.
• Support access control, visitor management, and badge processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and security events with timely escalation.
• Conduct audits and inspections of security controls and contractor performance.
• Coordinate with EHS, operations, and project leadership on security needs.
• Ensure turnover readiness and protection of personnel, materials, and infrastructure.
